While in my “add lightness” and “because racecar” phases, I was inspired by the McLaren F1 to finally get rid of all but the driver’s seat in my 2006 Kia Rio. Then I listened to Jay Leno tell his F1 story on Top Gear and learned that it is actually a 3-seater.
The car is so practical now that I longer have an excuse to ditch it. I can fit an 8ft ladder inside the cabin and have a completely empty trunk. Once it hits 300,000 miles though it’s getting a retirement party.
